Lion & Lamb

My sister-in-law is having twins--a boy and a girl!!! We are all so excited for them.  I thought it would be fun to do a lion and lamb for their baby gift.  They turned out cute...though I think the lamb needs some bows on it.  What do you think?  They are super soft little hats and I love them.

My very first Angry Bird

My dad has recently joined the bandwagon and become a major fan of angry birds...so his birthday gift was an obvious choice. 

 Had to show a picture of the hat in action...Angry Bird Grandpa chased and tackled all the Grandkid Piggies.  The kids got a kick out of it just as much as he did!

I know, I know...I think they are all "so cute"...but they are and I am such a fan of the elephant....wait til you see the white one...I used it for a white elephant gift :) Hilarious!

Girly Sock Monkey Hat

It has been SO long since I've posted anything and yet I've been extremely busy...so much to post so little time.  I will get caught up...I will.  Just for a start I'll post a recent order tonight.  Super girly little monkey hat, love it!

Purple & Orange Flower Hat

This hat was made to match a purple and orange dress...which proved to be a little bit of a challenge but I think its a darling idea and I'm happy with the end result...anyway its a fun new approach to a flower hat!  Maybe I can talk the mommy that ordered this hat into taking a picture with the complete outfit to see how it all goes together...

I LOVE this hat!  Don't we all tend to see animal attitudes in our children?..as I speak with parents who want hats made for their children I hear statements like she is just our "little bunny" or he's our "little tiger", maybe that is why the animal hats are so popular right now.  They allow us to show a bit of the personality in our children.  So, this is for all the little monkeys who have the energy and element of fun driving them.

I can put a Pom Pom on top of the hat if desired (I think it would be really cute!  Its up to you!)

Halloween Costume #2....Check, Check!

I finally got to my older son's Halloween Costume.   He wanted to be a dinosaur.  At first he wanted to be a T-Rex but my sister sent a picture she saw of a Triceratops and Caleb and I both decided that would be AWESOME.  So here it is...and of course little brother had to jump in with the Alligator hat.  We are now officially ready for Halloween!

A buzzzzzzzy Little Bee

With the cold winter months approaching work orders are increasing!  I have felt like a buzzzy little bee with my crochet hooks scattered around my house with balls of yarn.  This little bee hat recently ordered for a halloween costume is ADORABLE.  I love this hat and I can't wait to see the little guy its intended for in costume.
