Go Aggies!

Well, I am still trying to pace myself because too much crochet leads to wrist pain really fast when your pregnant...which I am.  However, I have enough to do for gifts and personal projects that I stay busy anyway.  So I have been feeling in the mood to blog lately and here are a few projects that I've been working on.  My sister and family are loving on Texas A&M as they have just moved to Texas and her husband is now a grad student for the Aggies.  She is expecting a baby this winter as well so baby needed some Maroon & White.  I made my sister a headband with 10 size thread that is really fun and festive as well.  "Gig 'em Aggies" :)

Purple & Orange Flower Hat

This hat was made to match a purple and orange dress...which proved to be a little bit of a challenge but I think its a darling idea and I'm happy with the end result...anyway its a fun new approach to a flower hat!  Maybe I can talk the mommy that ordered this hat into taking a picture with the complete outfit to see how it all goes together...

A Girly Hat in Every Way...

This is an order that was made recently for a little girl.  She wanted pink, red and purple...an "all girl" type hat.  At first I didn't know how I liked the way the colors grooved, but when the flower was put on I fell in love with it.  Darling!!!
