Go Huskers!

This one is for my kiddos for Christmas, because we love all things to do with the Huskers in this home. After showing my hubby these I may be making one more...in a larger size.  Once again, I love the lining.  I bought these fleece hats on clearance last winter and they fit in so nice and add extra warmth and softness.

Purple Baby Bundle

I have made several of these and I haven't posted them all but this one was so cute just had to share, I love the baby bundles.

Shell Stitch Baby Girl Hat

I needed a gift for a young lady in our church that just had a baby girl.  This hat is simple, soft and sweet and I love the lining inside.  I had a friend who showed me this trick--just buy a thin baby hat, turn it inside out and stitch it in and it makes it the hat extra warm and soft for baby.

Lion & Lamb

My sister-in-law is having twins--a boy and a girl!!! We are all so excited for them.  I thought it would be fun to do a lion and lamb for their baby gift.  They turned out cute...though I think the lamb needs some bows on it.  What do you think?  They are super soft little hats and I love them.

Here comes Susie Snowflake :)

To celebrate fall weather I finally decided to stiffen a bunch of snowflakes that I crocheted last winter.  My mother in law has a bunch on her tree and I LOVE them,  so I had to try them out.  (Note: she made hers by tatting which is awesome).

Anyway just had to share one all ready for our Christmas tree in a couple months.

Go Aggies!

Well, I am still trying to pace myself because too much crochet leads to wrist pain really fast when your pregnant...which I am.  However, I have enough to do for gifts and personal projects that I stay busy anyway.  So I have been feeling in the mood to blog lately and here are a few projects that I've been working on.  My sister and family are loving on Texas A&M as they have just moved to Texas and her husband is now a grad student for the Aggies.  She is expecting a baby this winter as well so baby needed some Maroon & White.  I made my sister a headband with 10 size thread that is really fun and festive as well.  "Gig 'em Aggies" :)

WRIST REST

It sounds so pathetic but I am officially taking time off from crocheting and giving my wrists a rest.  I have had problems in the past with pain in my arms and wrists from crocheting too much.  In the past couple weeks it has returned and I think its time to lay off a little and see if the pain goes away.  Therefore I won't be taking any new orders in the immediate future.  :(  Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things soon.

Baby Doll Bundles, a new fav

Um...pretty sure I got really "baby girl hungry" while making these little purses.  A purse that folds out as a cradle, complete with baby, great for on-the-go play with easy ribbon drawstring.  This is just the kind of thing I would have LOVED as a little girl.  So I just love everything about them and had to share.

P.S. I added a little crocheted blanket in before I shipped these but didn't get a pic...I liked the addition though.

These sell for $20, if anyone was curious. (Shipping is an additional $3/order)

Flower Power Bag

Every once in a great while, I have to make something for myself to keep me motivated.  Lately I've been branching out, trying projects outside of the "hat world", so you'll be seeing some fun new things in the future.  Lately, I've been really into bags for some reason.  This is my "Sunday Bag", big enough for all things a mom has to tote to church, and I love it!

My very first Angry Bird

My dad has recently joined the bandwagon and become a major fan of angry birds...so his birthday gift was an obvious choice.

Had to show a picture of the hat in action...Angry Bird Grandpa chased and tackled all the Grandkid Piggies.  The kids got a kick out of it just as much as he did!

The Husker Hat

Just had to make a couple of these...Go HUSKERS!

I've been busy, and still going strong...

Christmas is a busy time for hat making.  Its winter.  Its gift giving season.  I had some projects of my own and have some really fun new hats to show off.  Here are a few.
These were made for the nieces and nephews:

If you want a closer look they are posted individually too!

Navy Blue & Pink Flowered Hat

Already have another order for this one.  Super cute and simple flowered hat.

Gray Cat

I've made lots of pink girly cat hats so it was fun to make a cat hat for a boy.

Elephant Hat...I'm in love

I know, I know...I think they are all "so cute"...but they are and I am such a fan of the elephant....wait til you see the white one...I used it for a white elephant gift :) Hilarious!

Awesome Zebra

One of my new favorites, I had so much fun making this Zebra!

I LOVE this Bunny!

So cute...I will have to post some pics of this one on my niece--super cute!
